REBUILDING RESOURCES and INFORMATION

Architects, Engineers and other professionals volunteer their skills to help rebuild from the fires in Los Angeles County. Helping Draw Together is a donation based service to start rebuilding.

 

At no cost to homeowners, this organization's professionals will work with homeowners from evaluation to plan check approval.

* Helping Draw Together is also seeking a myriad of community members and professionals to join. Roles include Architects and Engineers, Lawyers and Accountants, Marketing and Social Media savvy individuals, Project Managers and Team Leaders, IT and Systems knowledgable individuals, Fundraising and Finance individuals, neighbors to make site visits, and other people to help with communications via email, phone and text. If there any desire to help, a role to fill will be found.

Working with multiple organizations to help those impacted by the fires, this page focuses on what AIA can do locally as architects and the Architecture, Engineering and Construction communities. 

The site has a lot of helpful information and resources that are designed to assist Altadena, Pasadena, LA and the Foothill communities.

Site information is provided  by the Pasadena and Foothill Chapters of the AIA (American Institute of Architects).

Greenland Housing Foundation's Fire Relief Fund focuses on assisting Black and Hispanic families displaced by the Eaton Fire.

 

Greenline has short, medium, and long-term plans for rebuilding homes, restoring neighborhoods, and helping folks remain in the community. 

 

This non-profit organization currently assists with navigating the claim's process and working with lenders, as well as connecting those in need with resources.

 

Greenline's site indicates that they will help locate, secure, and pay for long-term temporary housing, covering the cost for up to one year or $40,000. Their aim is to provide this assistance to a minimum of 50 families, prioritizing locating housing in Altadena, Pasadena and surrounding communities.
